How My Net Worth Changed in November 2025 (and Why My Bitcoin Dropped $10,000)

💰 My Financial Snapshot This Month

This November, my net worth took a dip — mostly thanks to a $10,000 Bitcoin drop.
But that’s part of the journey when you’re learning and building wealth in your 20s (and 30s *cough cough*)

Here’s the honest breakdown:

  • 📉 My Bitcoin dropped from around $34,000 to $25,000, hitting my total net worth hard.
  • 💵 My stock portfolio includes Microsoft, Enbridge, and Verizon, with several dividend positions.
  • 💰 I continue to invest $100 per week into VTI and contribute to my 401(k).
  • 💳 I’m tackling credit card balances, cutting high-interest debt to boost cash flow.

🧠 Why “Late Twenties and Broke” Exists

I started Late Twenties and Broke because I wanted to show the real-life side of money management — the wins, the setbacks, and the in-betweens.

Too often, financial creators show only the highlight reel.
This channel is about:

  • Accountability — sharing real numbers
  • Transparency — showing what’s working (and what’s not)
  • Relatability — proving that financial growth isn’t linear

If you’re also trying to figure out finances in your 20s or 30s, this is your space.

📊 What I’m Investing In

I’ve been focusing on a mix of dividend and growth investing.
Here’s what’s inside my portfolio this month:

  • 🏦 Dividend stocks like Altria, Pepsi, Coke, and Toyota
  • 📈 Growth holdings such as Microsoft, Enbridge, and Verizon
  • 💼 Consistent weekly $100 investments into VTI for long-term growth
  • 💰 Bitcoin — I sold just enough to pull out my original investment and let the rest ride

My approach:

Buy companies I believe in and use daily, then hold long-term.

💳 Credit Card Debt & Financial Transparency

Yes — I still have credit card debt, mostly from planned expenses like flights booked in advance.
It costs me roughly $100 per month in interest, so my top goal for December is paying it off completely and redirecting those funds to investments.

🚀 Goals for December and 2026

Here’s my roadmap:

  1. ✅ Pay down all high-interest cards
  2. 💸 Maintain consistent VTI contributions
  3. 📊 Research and buy SPYI, a tax-efficient dividend ETF
  4. 💬 Keep documenting every update on Late Twenties and Broke

💬 Final Thoughts

Sharing my finances online isn’t about bragging — it’s about being open and real.
If one person sees this and realizes it’s okay to start imperfectly, that’s a win.

You don’t need to be perfect to make progress — you just need to start.
