November 2025 Net Worth Update

BTC Down 30,000
BTC Down 30,000

Hello folks! Welcome back to Late Twenties And Broke. I’m your host Jonny F. I’m going to be honest, my last net worth update only stuck in my head for a few weeks, and then I forgot the number again. I still think of myself as being worth “100 grand” or $105,000 – somewhere around there. But upon viewing my August 2025 Net Worth Update, the number is actually $126,818. I’m selling myself short by about 20K hahaha.

Let’s review the numbers from August 2025 real quick:

PLTR(100 shares) $3,500.

100 of my shares sold in a call @ $3500 (which was $7000 under market price, womp womp). But I’m happy, because I was underwater on these shares for the LONGEST.
KO$2,371 (33.28 shares)
$2,339 (33.52 shares)

Price dipped $40, but my shares went up from DRIP.
DOW$1366 (44.76 shares).
$1,073 (45.79 shares).

I’m underwater -$1,023 on this position right now. Guess it’s the next Palantir for me haha.
VZ $694.44 (15.98 shares)$728(16.47 shares)

Went up $30, plus half a share from DRIP.
MO$2011 (33.96 shares). $2,274 (34.56 shares)

Up $200 and half a share from DRIP.
TM$408.43 (2.14 shares)$1,582 (8.17 shares).

I picked up 6 shares from extra cash I had from Bitcoin and Palantir.
RITM$693.82 (61.56 shares) $884 (71.44 shares)

I was building this position with a reoccurring buy, but I paused it.
JEPQ$187.78 (3.66 shares) $470 (8.42 shares)

I started building this position, but then I learned it’s taxed as ordinary income because the dividends are not qualified.
JEPI$188.27 (3.4 shares) $659 (11.62 shares)

Same thing. I was building a position, but then I learned about the taxes.
PEP$1,475.77 (11.01 shares) $2,274 (15.12 shares)

I wanted to get this position to two grand, because I did a lot of homework assignments with Pepsi as the subject haha.
SCHD$260.30 (10 shares) $5,685 (208 shares)

Wow, I changed grew this position 20X since May. That’s pretty aggressive haha. This is a mixture of BTC and PLTR profits, with a weekly buy of $100.
CVX (Chevron)$992 (6.34 shares)
ENB (Enbridge)$660 (14 shares)
PG (Proctor and Gamble)$617 (4 shares)

I added these 3 positions to grow my annual dividend income.
Bitcoin$29,236 (0.298 BTC).
$34,950 (0.298 BTC).

Another $5,000 USD in growth. BTC is really one of the champions of my portfolio.
Silver Coins&Bars$2,000 (Haven’t purchased any precious metals in years)
Employer 401K$44,346  $51,921

Jumped up another 7 grand! Hell yeah. Well this is nice little boost of motivation.
Savings trapped in CanadaCAD $2,235 ($1617 USD)
RRSP trapped in Canada$5,183 USD $4,245

CAD $9,266 ($6,705 USD)
Chequing$3,552 $245
Savings$3,248  $2,277
Savings Certificate #1$2640  $2,671.28

Basically the same number.
Savings Certificate #2$3,065.74
Total Assets$111,322.46 $129,197

A jump of $17,000 USD! Nice. That’s crazy good. That’s a 16% increase in my total assets over just 5 months. That’s crazy.
Credit Card #1 –$2,379.00
Credit Card #2 $0.00
Credit Card #3$0.00
Total Debt$2,379.00
August 2025 Total: $111,322 $126,818

And now, let’s see the numbers for November 2025:

PLTR(100 shares) $3,500.

Still stuck in a $35 call until January 16th, 2026.
SCHD $5,685 (208 shares)
$5,710 (210.95 shares)

I grew this position 20X between December and May. That’s pretty aggressive haha. I had a weekly buy of $100, but I switched it to VTI.
MO$2,274 (34.56 shares)
$2,043 (35.11 shares)

Basically the same as August. Got a little $36 dividend which was nice.
PEP$2,274 (15.12 shares)
$2,241 (15.27 shares)

Just like MO, basically no change. Gained 0.15 shares.
KO$2,339 (33.52 shares)
$2,461 (33.77 shares)

Damn this is a boring update. Basically no change. Gained a quarter of a share.
TM$1,582 (8.17 shares)
$1,616 (8.17 shares)

I think I picked the wrong month for this update. Maybe December or January will be more exciting haha.
MSFT$993 (2.09 shares)

I picked this up as a way to invest indirectly in ChatGPT. I would love to pick up some more. The dividend is trash though. Literally 2 cents on a $1,000 position.
DOW$1,073.47(45.79 shares)
$1,035 (46.43 shares)

I was underwater -$1,023, now I’m underwater -$1,077. On the bright side though, I did gain 0.64 of a share.
CVX (Chevron)$992 (6.34 shares)
$962 (6.41 shares)

The lack of DRIP is making this update pretty boring haha. However, at least I’m improving this table. Because before it was chronological/kinda random. Now it is in order of position.

That being said, I’d love to pick up some more Chevron stock haha.
VTI $1396(4.3 shares)

VTI is Vanguard Total Stock Market ETF. I’ve been doing a weekly buy of $100 for…if I have to guess, I’d say 13 weeks haha.

This is me shifting back into a Boglehead phase. I do love dividend stocks, but the math just isn’t mathing right now.
ENB$660 (14 shares)
$682 (14.16 shares)

Got my first dividend from ENB for $8, plus a little growth.
JEPI$659 (11.62 shares)
$670(11.84 shares)

Got 0.22 shares from dividends. I’ll take it haha.
VZ$728(16.47 shares)
$691 (16.76 shares)

I received an $11 dividend, not bad at all.
RITM$884 (71.44 shares) Sold.

Oh my gosh, I forgot I sold this to buy MSFT.
PG (Proctor and Gamble)$617 (4 shares)
$612(4.056 shares)
I added this position to grow my annual dividend income. So far I have received a whopping $8, which is where the 0.56 shares came from.
JEPQ$487 (8.63 shares)

I started building this position, but then I learned it’s taxed as ordinary income because the dividends are not qualified. So I will not be growing my positions in JEPQ/JEPI for the foreseeable future.
UL (Unilever)$397 (6.58 shares)

I picked this up because I bought some mouthwash and the parent company was Unilever. So I looked it up, and it had a 3%+ dividend.
Bitcoin$34,037 (0.298 BTC).
$25,145 (0.299 BTC)

This is going to affect my net worth hahaha. The heat finally left Bitcoin, and I didn’t sell.

1) BTC is at $85K as I type this. It will drop to 50% of the peak and not recover until 2029.

2) I SHOULD sell just enough to pull out my original $9,000. That would definitely give me some peace of mind, while ALSO leaving $16,000 of house money invested. My coins are locked up until early December, but that might be the move. Unless it drops crazy low in the next 2 weeks.
Silver Coins&Bars$2,000 (Haven’t purchased any precious metals in years)

Thinking about buying some more lately, but, I think I will send them out as birthday and Christmas gifts instead haha.
Employer 401K$51,921
$55,001

Finally something that is up! Haha. This has been my bread and butter for years now.
Savings trapped in CanadaCAD $2,235 ($1617 USD)

(CAD 2,235) = $1584 USD
RRSP trapped in CanadaCAD $9,266 ($6,705 USD)

(CAD $10,751) = $7621 USD
Chequing$425
Savings$2,277  $2,154
Savings Certificate #1$2671  $2,699

Basically the same number.
Savings Certificate #2$3,065.74 $3,101
Total Assets$111,322.46
$129,197
$125, 225

Dang. In the past 3 months, my assets actually went backwards. I know why though. My Bitcoin went down $10,000 while I contributed $5,000 to my 401K. That balances out to a $5,000 lower net worth. Makes sense.
Credit Card #1 –$933
Credit Card #2 -$346
Credit Card #3-$1589
Credit Card #4-$2,064
Total Debt –$4,932
November 2025 Total: $126,818 $120,293

Wow, it actually happened!

My net worth went DOWN. I was making all my 401K contributions, that’s why my 401K went from $51,000 to $55,000. Plus I send $100 per week into a separate index fund (VTI). That’s why my brand new VTI position is at $1300 already. So that’s $5,000 in assets I didn’t have before.

So why did my net worth go down? Well, a full THIRD of my net worth is in Bitcoin, and the heat left. My BTC went down from $34,000 to $25,000. That’s an almost $10,000 downswing. So it makes perfect sense why my net worth went down.

What can I do about it? Quite a bit.
1) Continue to contribute. The same amount gets deducted from my pay every month to slide into my 401K. Same with my $100/week into VTI.

2) Pull my original $9,000 out of BTC and put it somewhere it won’t swing so crazy. That leaves $16,000 of house money still invested. I think that’s a great compromise.

3) Minimize my spending (I say it every update haha) to make progress and try to pay off these credit cards. Because they are biting my income by about $100/month in interest charges.

One way I will be minimizing my spending is by not eating out or ordering delivery, like AT ALL. I’m replacing the habit by stocking up on protein bars. If you need some cheap protein bars at $1.50 each, check these out on Amazon.

4) I turned on two recurring buys, one for Chevron at $1 a day and the other for Unilver at $2 a day. Considering there’s 20 market days per month, this will add about $60/month in stock buys. That will soothe the burn a little bit of my net worth going backwards, haha!

Well, that’s plenty of info for this update. See y’all next time.
