As you can see, we did really well with the LTAB Wedding FundTM between May and July. I really restructured it in a way that maximizes the amount of extra cash we recieve monthly. Now that I’ve seen how steady and heavy that cash pumps every month, I’m gona be honest, I really don’t want to sell that chunk of SPYI to pay for the wedding.
So what I will do, is I will buy myself out from those shares. I will find $2,248 from somewhere els, save it, and then use that for the wedding instead. I’m making like $65 a month from just my SPYI position, which is pretty lit if I say so myself. Add in the monthly $36 I get from QQQI and that’s really starting to add up.
Let’s look at the pros and cons for July 2026.
1) I let the credit car get out of control again. Balance is -$2,555 in July 2026, which made my overall net worth decrease on paper in the past 3 months. Not good.
2) I continued to shovel cash into my emergency fund, 401K, Bitcoin, and wedding fund. Did a great job of that.
3) Tesla and Bitcoin swung low for this update, but that’s just how it is sometimes. I’m very happy that Bitcoin was low – I keep buying and buying, every week.
Overall, between May 2026 and July 2026, invested a meaningful amount of new money, but downward swings in Bitcoin and Tesla were enough to overwhelm those contributions. Piling onto that, my credit card balance moved in the wrong direction.
However, I take solace in the fact that this is exactly why I’m documenting this journey. This is to show that it IS POSSIBLE, even when life isn’t perfect.
It’s kind of funny. This is the 2nd net worth update where I’ll invest thousands over three months and somehow finish poorer than when I started hahaha.
The important part is that I keep piling up stocks and BTC, keep paying down debt when it apepars, and in the words of Sylvestor Stallone: keep moving forward.

Slow progress is better than no progress.
I personally don’t think this progress is slow at all. I think I added a ton of shares and BTC, it’s just gonna take a little bit of time to really see the fruit.
